I am finally back again with another blog post after taking a while out (again). In honesty I have been spending more time over on my Vlogging channel on YouTube! I have added lots of new content recently and also am currently waiting for my gorilla pod to arrive to up my Vlogging game dramatically. I am so excited to use it and be able to mount and hold my phone a lot easier when producing better YouTube content for my channel. So if you are constantly checking back here for new content, always head over to my Vlogging channel & subscribe for regular updates!
Pushing that aside – today I wanted to review a product which kindly got sent to my postbox by ESPA. Their ‘Nourishing Lip Treatment product’ retailing at £19.99 from John Lewis is brand new and I couldn’t wait to try it out when I received it. I have real troubles, I mean real troubles finding something that helps with my dry lips. I suffer from them all year round come rain or shine, so I really was willing to give this a go.
ESPA states that this lip treatment is natural therapy for soft, sooth and glossy lips. I totally agree with this statement as after it is applied it leaves my lips feeling soft and delicate with a gorgeous aroma. It also adds a nice gloss which is perfect if you just aren’t bothered to wear lipstick on a particular kind of day. This treatment also boasts a range of nourishing ingredients such as; raspberry and Pomegranate seed Omega Oils, collagen-boosting Indian Gentian Leaves, Konjac Root and Hyaluronic Acid Filling Spheres.
I have currently used just over half of the treatment so far and although it is a gorgeous product to carry around in case you haven’t got your regular lip balm I haven’t noticed a real difference. I wanted to really give this product a fair and honest review so I stopped using my other lip balm’s altogether and just use this product on it’s own. I am not sure whether this was the right thing to do but after a while my poor lips go back to being dry and I can never get by just a few hours without coating them in something.
I wouldn’t rate this product bad because it could suit others but as it did not suit me personally I shall continue my hunt to finding the ultimate cure for my lips!
Could you recommend anything to treat dry lips? Have you tried ESPA’s lip nourishing treatment?
