The Autumn Tag 2015

Last year I did this tag and loved answering the questions because it’s all to do with my favourite season – Autumn! This year I decided to do it again, well, because things change and my tastes change too! I decided not to Vlog this tag but do my old fashioned way of blogging instead as I am now a busy bee in a full time job and vlogging has taken a back seat for a while until I find time to do it again/adjust to my new routine. So here goes, the autumn tag!

What’s your favorite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero?
When I was at University I was constantly heading to Starbucks which was our on campus cafeteria to get my favourite seasonal cinnamon hot chocolate that would make an appearance at this time of year. It was a great way to kill time in between lectures and catch up with friends. Since University though, I have only been to Starbucks or Costa a handful of times and as it was the Summer I would order a cooler chocolate or strawberry Frappucino.if I was to go into either of these coffee shops though I would most probably order a hot chocolate at this time of year or an English cuppa, something traditional!

Accessories – what do you opt for, scarves, boots or gloves?
I have promised myself to start wearing more boots this winter, I have a tendency to get stuck to the same things such as trainers and even submit my feet to wearing pumps still in the winter making my poor little feet suffer from the cold! So I would have to say boots. Besides those, I think gloves and scarves are also a must. Last year I ended up wearing my touch screen gloves a lot just because they are so handy to keep on when you need to send a text and prevent your hands from being cold. I love the pink and grey ones from Primark for £1.50 for an absolute bargain.

Music – what’s your favorite music to listen to?
Recently on Sunday nights before I head back to start the working week again on a Monday I love to wind down to some slow relaxing songs on my Spotify. I love the fact you can browse playlists and choose your mood. I’ve ended up saving A LOT to my main playlist from these and replaying them when I’m in the mood. It makes me really excited for the darker and cosier nights.

Candles – what scents will you be burning this season?
I think I will stick to my usual glade candles this year as I do every year. My favourites are the cinnamon or glistening snow candles which usually come out around October time. We recently got given some candles for our new flat which consist of apple and spiced berries and they are both gorgeous! I shall definitely be adding them to a favourites at some point soon.

Perfume – what is your favorite scent for this time of year?
Recently I have been using Zoella’s new fragrance which she bought out a few months ago, I have been loving it but alas I am almost out and so I shall have to repurchase something new soon, therefore if anyone has any recommendations please let me know! 🙂

What do you love about Autumn?
Since I have just started a new job as a teaching assistant in a private school I love the fact that the autumn term has now begun. It’s my favourite part of the academic year and it means my diary is still fresh and new to fill with exciting events for the year ahead. I love the season in itself with all its changes – leaves falling off the trees, conkers under foot and the nights closing in again. I am a great lover of Halloween and get really excited planning what I’m going to wear and getting everyone together for a Halloween party! Being able to carve pumpkins and have the, glowing makes it feel extra cosy, something that I shall definitely be doing in my new flat this year!

Favorite make up looks?
Another year on and I’m still wearing exactly the same make up as I usually do, the only thing I tend to change up is my foundation and mascara from time to time. Other than that it really does stay the same. I’ve wanted to try out and get into more lipsticks recently so shall be keeping an eye out for autumnal colours of those when I get my first pay cheque! I find the darker lipsticks that come out around this time of year look great with winged eyeliner.

What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
I feel like this question is similar to the one above but I’m really looking forward to spending a lot of cosy nights in this year in mine and Ash’s new flat and finishing it off. We still have a few Pieces of furniture to get so I’m looking forward to finally getting everything sorted now I’m feeling more settled in my new full-time job!

Aaaaand that’s it for this year! I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about my autumn favourites! I am currently wanting to do an end of September favourites this month since I have done a favourites Vlog in a while. When I do, I shall definitely be linking it here on my blog a long with all the products I’ve mentioned and where to find them.
Can you recommend any lipsticks for me to try? Do you know of any autumnal candles I can burn this season?
Bye for now! 🙂 x
